What a waste!
Number of pages handed out in arboriculture science 2 in 6 weeks: 44
Number of duplicates handed out in total over those 6 weeks : 20
Number of students in our year: 62
Number of students last year : 60(approx)
Add those together and you get: 122
Multiply by number of duplicates: 2440 (thats a box of paper btw) It’s not about the cost of this box ($38 at staples) it’s about the impact of 10,000 teachers on our forestry industry, economy and post secondary education system.
THAT’s irresponsible. Don’t get me wrong, I waste and litter all the time. But I TRY to do my part when it’s easy, at least(which isn’t good but isn’t bad). This guy did not have to hand out duplicates. When I asked him the first time he said, “it’s for review, then we get on to this classes lesson.” Ok, but we have those papers from last week, we dont need new ones.
He’s being supremely lazy on this one. I’m gonna bring up next class to see if he realizes that it is easy to avoid this wastage.
